PSYCHOTHERAPY AND COUNSELLING
Andrea offers a warm, grounded and thoughtfully held space for psychotherapy — one where you can arrive exactly as you are. Her approach is open, non-judgmental and deeply respectful of each person’s story, with a focus on building a genuine therapeutic relationship.
Therapy with Andrea is not about being “fixed,” but about being understood. It’s a space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface — so you can begin to live with greater clarity, authenticity and connection, both within yourself and in your relationships.
There is room here for all of it — the uncertainty, the overwhelm, the parts that feel messy or hard to name. Many people find themselves talking about things in this space that they’ve never felt able to share anywhere else. What is brought into the room is held with care, dignity and strict confidentiality.
Together, you will gently explore patterns, challenges and experiences that may be shaping your current life. This includes not only present difficulties, but also the deeper layers — early experiences, core beliefs and unconscious processes — that often sit quietly in the background, influencing how you feel, relate and respond.
Andrea works in a way that is both compassionate and curious, supporting you to develop insight, strengthen self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change. Over time, this process can lead to a greater sense of ease, resilience and alignment in everyday life.
Individual psychotherapy and counselling sessions are 50 minutes in duration and take place in a private and confidential setting.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Your respect for session times is appreciated.
“Pain in this life is not avoidable, but the pain we create avoiding pain is avoidable.”
R.D. Laing

ANDREA'S STORY
At the heart of Andrea’s work is a belief that people are not problems to be fixed, but stories to be understood.
Andrea is a qualified Psychotherapist with a Graduate Diploma in Analytic Psychotherapy from The Churchill Clinic (51281). She is a Clinical Registrant (31025) on the PACFA National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors.
With over 30 years’ experience working one-to-one with adults and young people, Andrea brings depth, steadiness and insight to her work. Her approach is shaped not only by formal training, but by years of sitting alongside people through a wide range of life experiences.
Andrea has also worked as a Counsellor within a not-for-profit registered training organisation, supporting individuals from migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds, as well as those furthering their education. This work reflects her commitment to accessible, inclusive and culturally responsive care.
Based in Perth, where she was born and raised, Andrea lives with her long-term partner and two children. As the youngest of six, she brings a lived understanding of family dynamics into her work.
