PSYCHOTHERAPY AND COUNSELLING
Andrea’s psychotherapy practice provides an accepting and nurturing environment, where she is welcoming, non-judgemental, open-minded and professional.
Working with a psychotherapist and counsellor helps to create a more fulfilling and satisfying life, allowing incorporation of authenticity into time with friends, family, work colleagues and community.
All issues, problems and feelings are welcome in Andrea’s friendly, non-judgemental and professional therapy room.
What is talked about in the counselling room is treated with respect, dignity and confidentiality. It is a place where you can talk about things that you might not feel comfortable talking about anywhere else, or with anyone else.
Talking about difficulties, challenges, complexities and issues through the process of psychotherapy increases self-awareness, identifies barriers and/or destructive patterns and promotes emotional growth. This in turn benefits work, play and relationships – and increases an overall sense of well-being. Psychotherapy and counselling can assist in making changes for a balanced, authentic and self-aware life.
For meaningful, long-term change to occur it is important to not only focus on the symptoms, but to explore the origins of a problem. This includes the unconscious and core beliefs which influence attitudes and contribute to feelings of discomfort.
Individual psychotherapy and counselling sessions are 50 minutes in duration - and are private and confidential.
Please respect your session times and provide a minimum 24 hours notice when cancelling.
